The two RVEL converted Class 73/9s, Nos. 73952 Janis Kong and 73951 Malcolm Brinded stand in Liverpool Lime Street awaiting departure with the next leg of its working to Southport. These two locomotives are something of a rare appearance on the regular Merseyrail Inspection Train service operated by Network Rail, with GBRf Class 73/9s the normal motive power.
