Three months away from withdrawal, LNER Class A1 Pacific No. 60128 'Bongrace' was on front line duty passing Tuxford on 19th September 1964 as it headed the Locomotive Club of Great Britain's 'Pennine Limited' railtour from St Pancras to Sheffield and Crewe Works, before returning to Marylebone. Other locomotive utilised during the day were Class 76 Electric No. 26000, LMS Ivatt 2-6-2T No. 41229, LMS 'Black 5' No. 45382 and LMS 'Royal Scot' No. 46155.
