Rail Express Systems-liveried EWS Class 47/7 No. 47792 'Saint Cuthbert' runs into Babworth down loop on 5th May 2002, hauling the 15:40 Leeds to King's Cross service on a day of engineering work between Doncaster and Leeds necessitating diversions (the service proceeded on electric power from Retford). This unusual use of the loop was due to the failure of previous 1430 Leeds to King's Cross occupying the up platform at Retford, having failed.
