On 25th March 2022, Colas Class 37 No. 37116 stands in the goods loop at Hellifield with the 14.15 Blackpool North - Derby RTC via routes across the North West Network Rail test train. Classmate No. 37099 Merl Evans was on the rear. The Class 37s were making a welcome return to this working which operates once every four weeks, following the use of class 43 power cars the previous month.
