With the exception of occasional oil workings, Class 60s until quite recently have not been a common sight North of Didcot for many years. In this view taken on a beautiful sunny morning, Cappagh-liveried Class 60 No. 60028 hauls a matching raft of open box wagons hauling the recently introduced flow to Machen Quarry, in this instance, the 11:18 departure from Oxford Banbury Road on 7th April 2022. Although this is normally an empty working to the quarry, a number of wagons still remain loaded.
