Neilson, Reid and Co. 0-4-0ST No. 5907 as Bass No. 9, built 1901, is seen at the National Brewery Centre Burton-on-Trent on 22nd October 2022. No. 5907 was withdrawn in 1964 and chosen for preservation as it hauled the Directors coach with King Edward VII around the Bass railway on his visit in 1902. Site owners Coors are closing the National Brewery Centre at the end October 2022, and the future of No. 5907 and other rolling stock (owned by the local council) is currently uncertain as the suggested relocation site in Burton is likely to be proved too small for such large items. No. 5907 has been in this location, visible from a main road into Burton, for 45 years.
