EMR Class 170 No. 170506, on the 14:10 Crewe to Newark Castle service, is seen held at Tutbury and Hatton station on 24th July 2025 with the passengers outside the train following discovery of a tree across the line near Marston on Dove. Network Rail personnel were sent with chain saws to remove the obstruction and the service continued after a delay ominutes and was terminated at Derby. The bus replacement service arranged did not start from Tutbury until the train had eventually arrived at Derby.
