DB Cargo Class 60/0 No. 60011 passing Appleby on a rather windy 29th October 2022, working the 1044 New Biggin British Gypsum to Milford West Sidings with the empty gypsum wagons. Normally on a gypsum train would run to New Biggin via the Tyne Valley Line to Carlisle where the loco would run round and then head down to the gypsum works. Later in the morning the train would head to Carlisle empty and run back to Tees Dock on. However, due to the derailment at Carlisle it was routed via the S&C.
