Locomotive services Midland Pullman with Class 43 power cars No. 43055 and 43047 pass Long Preston on 18th April 2024 with the 15.21 Carlisle - Wolverhampton railtour. The outward working was also via the S&C but the return should have been via the Cumbrian Coast but had to be rerouted due to current closure due to the ongoing issues at Grange over Sands.
