The final Birkenhead North EMUD to Newport Docks scrap train of redundant Class 507/508 units ran on 23rd January 2025 and passes Woofferton with 37884 'Cepheus' hauling 507029/001. Set No. 507029 will be scrapped at Unimetals, but No. 507001 will be transported by road from Newport to Derby to attend 'The Greatest Gathering for Railway 200' in August 2025, before being moved to it's permanent home at the Tanat Valley Railway, Oswestry.
