Every day, one Cross Country Voyager unit visits South Wales. On 9th July 2025, it was the turn of Class 221 No. 221136, which departs from Newport and is passing the disused signal box. This train calls at Birmingham New Street where another Voyager from Plymouth is attached and both then continue to Edinburgh. This is the only train that visits Wales, England and Scotland as there is no corresponding southbound service.
