Looking North towards Lichfield the path of HS2 can now be clearly seen at Middleton, North Warwickshire as what will become the track bed is excavated. Church Lane overbridge will span the gap and replace the current Church Lane road from which the photo is taken. This forms the Coleshill to Handsacre, Lichfield section of HS2.
