With the likelihood of low overnight temperatures, an afternoon Snow and Ice treatment train (SITT) was run on 4th March 2025 along the Newhaven branch. The working passes Southease powered by GBRF Class 69s Nos. 69008 Richard Howe and 69006 Pathfinder Railtours in 'top and tail' formation.
