West Coast Railways Class 47 No. 47812, with 47832 on the rear, heads past Colton Junction on 16th March 2025 with a football special from Newcastle to Wembley Central for the League Cup final between Liverpool and Newcastle United. The train was routed via Hartlepool due to engineering works, then running along the ECML and north London line.
