GWR Collett Manor Class 4-6-0 No. 7802 (ex-Bradley Manor) leaves Shrewsbury on 4th August 1965. This makes an interesting comparison to the same locomotive, 60 years later, at the Severn Valley Railway Spring Steam Gala on 18th March 2025, running in '1965 condition' with no nameplates and white painted smokebox door parts and buffers. The black and white photo does show the smokebox door embellishments, but the buffers are dirty from use, and No. 7802 was in the begrimed condition of the time.
