On the cable-operated Great Orme Tramway, Car No. 4 'St Tudno' approaches Half Way station at the top of the lower section on 17th April 2025. The blue lineside masts once supported the overhead wire of a telegraph communication system which connected via the trolley pole on the top of the tram. Crews now use radio communication.
