On 27th April 2025 GWR Castle No. 7029 ‘Clun Castle' operated Vintage Trains ‘Shakespeare Express' workings along with 1990's Transrail Freight-liveried Class 37 No. 37240. On 27th the train started from Derby and ran to Stratford via Hatton, after it had decanted its passengers it then worked a ‘normal' Shakespeare Express run from Stratford to Birmingham Moor Street and return, out via Hatton and back via the North Warwickshire line. The train then reloaded with its original passengers and departed back to Derby. Then captured at Henley In Arden on the climb up the North Warwickshire line ‘Clun Castle' then leads the 1646 to Derby with 37240 providing some assistance at the rear as the train heads up towards Wood End.
