On the 1st May 2025 a busy scene at Castlefields as DB Class 66/0 No. 66028 eases across the viaducts with a Trafford Park to London Gateway intermodal working while Metrolink Tram No. 3089 in its striking Hits Radio livery hurries on the viaduct above heading towards East Didsbury in the opposite direction.
