On 23rd May 2025, Colas Rail Class 43 Nos. 43301 and 43303 top and tail a test train with Mk3 coaches and Class 91 No. 91117 sandwiched in the middle pass through Oxford heading to Swindon, this is to conduct tests in the severn tunnel prior to closure for engineering work.
