On 23rd August modified Merchant Navy Class 35028 Clan Line waits at Victoria prior to working ECS back to Stewarts Lane after the arrival of the 1715 from Worcester RTC 'Cotswold Venturer'. On arrival back at Stewarts Lane a relief all volunteer support crew was waiting to take over and prepare the loco for a departure at 0639 to the South Eastern open day at Ashford, an event that proved highly successful.
