The Calder Valley is a scenic area that sees little visits and a mixed service of four trains per hour each way operated by a variety of DMU trainsets. On July 17 unit No. 158755, recently reformed as a 3-car trainset, joins the Calder Valley route with a Blackpool North - York service after crossing the Pennines via Copy Pit.
