Moorland & City Railways reopened the Cauldon Lowe branch line on Saturday 13th November 2010 and the celebrations got underway with a full day of steam hauled trains from Kingsley & Froghall to Cauldon Lowe. BR Standard Class 8P No. 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' storms up the 1 in 40 incline through Bradnop Cutting with the first revenue earning passenger service on the branch line for 75 years.
