The first of the Winter season of CME tours ran on February 4 when Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 45305 worked the Preston - Carlisle - Carnforth stages of the train. 45305 is seen breasting Hoghton Summit on the outward journey en route to Blackburn and the Ribble Valley route to Hellifield where the first water stop was booked.
