On the 1st July 2013, Colas Railfreight Class 66 No. 66848 leaves Shildon with 6M86 with a train of loaded coal from Wolsingham Coal Handling Plant to Ratcliffe Power Station. The locomotive subsequently failed at Parkgate Junction, Darlington and was rescued by DRS Class 37 No. 37402. The line on the extreme left of this photograph, which previously gave access to Shildon Wagon Works, is now part of Locomotion, the National Railway Museum facility at Shildon.
