A private charter was operated by the Preserved Locomotives Enthusiasts Group (PLEG) + Branch Line Society (BLS) on 6th March 2015 at the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway using all the lines diesel traction. Class 11-lookalike No. 7120 rolls into Newby Bridge while en route from Lakeside to Haverthwaite during its round trip working on the day.
