Colas Rail Class 70/8 No. 70803 stands on Dinting Viaduct with a rake of Autoballaster wagons on 19th December 2021. Track renewal works were taking place on the Dinting triangle, with the entire service operated with a bus replacement. The private car park alongside Dinting station had been given over to the contractors for parking and amenities for the workers involved. The Colas 70 was one of two which had brought the engineers train in from Crewe Basford Hall the previous evening, the other loco and other half of the train being positioned on the Hadfield branch while Kirow crane No. DRK 81625 was engaged in moving the old and new track panels.
