Northern Class 156 DMU No. 156424 and Class 150/1 DMU No. 150103 approach Godley as they work the 13:12 Guide Bridge to Hadfield service on 3rd September 2022. Substituing for the more usual Class 323 EMU, the line was worked by diesels for several days following the flooding of the line through Fairfield caused by a burst water main in the early hours of the 1st of the month. The disruption continued through the weekend and into the rush hour on the morning of the 5th but the line reopened fully later that day after Network Rail had conducted checks and made repairs to the track and lineside equipment.
