Today, the 1st October 2022, there was a rail strike on the national rail network and all services on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway were terminating at Grosmont and not continuing on the national rail network to Whitby. Having brought a late running 15.00 service from Pickering to Grosmont, which would normally have continued to Whitby, NER T2 / LNER Q6 0-8-0 No. 63395, passes Grosmont station, as it returns to Grosmont shed, marking the end of its duties, on 1st October 2022.
