On the 25th August 2023, an Avanti West Coast Class 390 Pendolino No. 390141, approaches Carlisle Citadel station working the 12.40, Avanti West Coast service from Glasgow Central to London Euston. No. 390141 is currently unnamed but was previously named 'City of Chester'.
