Class 507 No. 507001 passes Newport on 23rd January 2025. It is heading from Birkenhead North Depot to Unimetals (formerly Sims) at Newport Docks and is being hauled by ROG Class 37 No. 37884 along with classmate No. 507029. No. 507001 will enter preservation, moving initally to Derby whereas No. 507029 will be scrapped.
