Former Class 21 rebuilt in 1966 to become Class 29 D6121 at Perth on 21st August 1970 working a Dundee to Glasgow Queen Street service. There was much debate about the original identity of D6121 which was thought to be the former D6122 prior to 1966. D6122 which ended up in Barry scrapyard revealed a weathered D6121 cab front. The final D6121 was withdrawn in October 1971.
