The only street running in South Africa was in Fauresmith where SAR 4-8-2 Class 19D No. 2692 is seen working the 09:40 (Mixed) Koffiefontein to Springfontein on 13th April 1978. With the knowledge of the crew the slow running enabled photos to be taken through the street then hop on once out of town. The line was dieselised in July 1982 and sadly closed in 2001.
