On the 29th January 2025, brand new Avanti West Coast Class 807, No. 807007, passes under the bridge at Glebe Road, Darlington, as it heads north under its own power, having being dragged from the Hitachi, factory in Newton Aycliffe to Darlington by GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66779 'Evening Star'. At this point it is running from Darlington to Wembley Inter City Depot, via Edinburgh.
