Providing a rare sight at Eaglescliffe on 23rd February 2025, is GBRf Class 73/9 No. 73967, in GBRf Caledonian Sleeper livery. The locomotive was working from Craigentinny Depot in Edinburgh, to Doncaster Roberts Road shed, but during to engineering works on the ECML had been diverted around the Durham Coast.
