On the 21st June 2025, an LSL Class 20, No. 20118 'Saltburn by the Sea' leads classmate No. 20132 across the River Eden at Etterby, Carlisle, while heading north with The Lochalsh Choppers: Day 1: the 08.23 from Crewe to Inverness promoted by SRPS Railtours.
LSL Class 87 No. 87002 'Royal Sovereign' had hauled the railtour from Crewe to Carlisle, whereupon the two LSL Class 20s with Class 37 No. 37403 'Isle of Mull' at the rear hauled the train from Carlisle to Inverness.
