Saturdays have become a good day to see pairs of Freightliner Class 90s on intermodal trains passing through Carlisle Citadel Station. In this view, on 2nd August 2025, a pair of Class 90s Nos. 90044 and 90012, with Freightliner Class 66/5 No. 66518 dead inside, halt in platform 3 for a crew change while working from London Gateway to Coatbridge Freightliner Terminal.
