A mishap at Fiskerton Junction on Monday 26th November 2012 saw the railhead treatment train fail to stop at Fisko's FJ3 home signal and unfortunately the result was the leading DBS red shed making quite a mess of the up side gate. As no ready replacement was immediately available then a suitably sized metal gate was found, and with the judicious use of some suitable timbers, was mackled up to plug the gap. No longer able to be easily opened of course, the road has had to be temporarily closed. A new gate is in manufacture and will be replaced in the not too distant. Seen four days after the event, Class 156 No. 156413 passes the disabled crossing at 13:46 on Thursday 29th November 2012 with the 12:25 Leicester - Lincoln, East Midlands Trains service.
