During a short lived operation of FGW loco hauled trains with Class 57s on a Cardiff - Taunton circuit before their replacement with Class 67 traction, the 1300 Cardiff - Taunton is pictured passing Bishton Flyover, between Newport and Severn Tunnel Junction, with a pair of unidentified Class 57/3s. The flyover was built to prevent conflicting movements when significant freight flows worked between Llanwern Steelworks and Severn Tunnel Yard.
