Acquired by the Great Central Railway for commercial training opportunities, former London Midland Class 153 No. 153371 and sister (ex East Midlands Railway No. 153308) featured in the railway's mixed traffic gala held over Easter 2024 and provided some additional interest to the event. No. 153371 is pictured about to depart from Quorn and Woodhouse with an afternoon service from Loughborough to Rothley.
