New to traffic at the Brecon Mountain Railway in 2024 was this Baldwin 1930 built Pacific locomotive No. 2. It spent most of its working life in South Africa until withdrawn after an accident. It was brought to the UK in the mid 1990s and after a long restoration is now operating the lion's share of passenger trains alongside No. 1, a sister Baldwin designed 2-6-2 locomotive also based at the railway.
