In early 2022, having been purchased by the Vale of Berkeley Railway and spending a short time stored in the West Midlands, 'Pacer' Class 143 No. 143612 which was formerly operated by Great Western Railway, was taken to the embryonic Llanelli and Mynydd Mawr Railway at Cynheidre, where it is pictured a few days after arriving and receives attention from LMMR and VOBR members. LMMR also owns two further ex Arriva Trains Wales Class 143 units and Class 142 DMU No. 142006, pictured here with 143612.
