On the 23rd February 2015 Riviera Trains Ltd. Class 47 No. 47812, but running as D1916 and currently on hire to GBRf, is seen passing on the down line through Northallerton station, prior to crossing over onto the up slow line to the south of the station, while hauling a rake of Mk II carriages from the Wensleydale Railway to Doncaster, Roberts Road, for tyre turning.
