On the 12th May 2025, a northern trains Class 156, No. 156416 prepares to depart from Southport station with the 12.05 Northern service from Southport to Manchester Oxford Road.
Stabled to the right are a pair of Northern Class 150/1's, nos. 150121 and to the rear 150123, which will later depart from platform 5 with the 12.32 Northern service from Southport to Stalybridge.
