The sheer scale of building transport links in south Wales may be seen in this image of the Ebbw Valley on 1st February 2011 showing the steep sides and the shoe-horning of rail and road in the limited space available on the floor of the valley. Arriva Trains Wales Class 150, numbered No. 150281 is seen working the 12.40 from Ebbw Vale Parkway to Cardiff Central passes the remains of Aberbeeg station, closed in 1962.
