On the 28th and 29th July 2012 the Llangollen Railway held a '1960s Weekend' and on the second of those days, GW 'Manor' No. 7822 is seen running in to Carrog, while working the 10:00 departure from Llangollen. The locomotive had been specially prepared for the event by 'heavy weathering' the paintwork and the removal of name and numberplates; in addition it had the number 7807 chalked on one cabside and No. 7812 on the other. Its appearance was a good representation of the state of some locomotives during the last few years of steam.
