On 14th September 2012 an unidentified First Great Western HST crosses the River Tawe on Landore viaduct while working the 12:28 Swansea to Paddington, this power car is at the rear of the train and it is passing from left to right across the picture. At the top of the hillside are the remains of Morris Castle, built between 1768 and 1774 to house the families of workers in the copper industry.
