Brush Type 4 No. D1839 accelerates away from Preston past Skew Bridge Signal Box on 9th September 1967 with a service for London Euston. New from Loughborough in April 1965, it became No. 47189 under TOPS. The loco was withdrawn in March 1989 and cut-up by MC Metals of Springburn in March 1992.
