Electro-diesel No. E6101 stabled at Bournemouth Depot on 2nd August 1970. The loco was new from Doncaster Works as No. E5015 in February 1960 but was placed in store during 1964. Following modification for push-pull operation at Crewe Works, it was re-numbered E6101 in February 1968. It became Class 74 No. 74001 under TOPS and was withdrawn in December 1977, being cut-up by Birds at Long Marston during August 1978.
