Newton Heath MPD on 15th March 1968, where Stanier Class 5MT 4-6-0 No. 45202 is flanked by a pair of Class 8F 2-8-0's No's 48620 and 48356.All three locos were to be withdrawn just three months later, in June of that year. The shed opened in 1875 as 26A but was nearing it's end as a steam depot, being closed as 9D on 1st July 1968.
