Class AL6 electric No. E3120 stands at the head of a London Euston service at Manchester Piccadilly on 17th March 1971. New from Doncaster Works in September 1965, the loco became Class 86 No. 86019 under TOPS in 1973. It later became No. 86319 in 1979 and finally No. 86419 in 1986. It carried the name 'Post Haste - 150 Years of Travelling Post Offices' from 13/7/90 to 31/8/93. Withdrawn from service in March 1999, it was cut-up on site at Crewe EMD by Sanbach Car and Commercial Dismantlers during March 2003.
